Simon developed a taste for theatre at school, and performing in numerous Gang Shows with the Scout Association. He recently made the step across to the Adelaide amateur scene with the Hills Musical Company's 2018 production of Sideshow, playing the Human Pin Cushion, and has since appeared as Theophile in The Met's production of Can-Can.

Away from theatre, Simon is an economics student and trail runner, and dances west coast swing.
