Shelley Hampton
This is Shelley’s second production for The Stirling Players, after playing the role of Lindsay in Life after George in 2011. After many years performing in musicals, she revisited her love of straight acting in 2010 in the Noel Coward play, Present Laughter, for Therry, in the role of Liz Essendine. She has not looked back.
In 2011, she also performed the lead role of The Woman in Burnside Players’ production year of Jewels on Black Velvet.
Her musical credits include principal roles and chorus roles in: Spamalot( NLTC), Sound of Music ( NLTC), Urinetown (Hills Musical Company) and Carousel, My Fair Lady, Shout, Alice (MS Society).
She has also stage managed and assistant-directed productions for 20 to 1 Theatre and assistant stage-managed for the G and S Society.
When not on stage, Shelley teaches at Saints Girls School where she conducts the Junior School Choir and directs the Junior School musical.
