Lauren Scarfe
Lauren’s interest in the stage started through years of calisthenics and high school plays and musicals. For the last thirteen years she has been involved in the theatre scene in Adelaide as a choreographer, singer, actor and dancer. Favourite roles include Elsa Schraeder in The Sound of Music (Nothern Light Theatre Company), Isabel in Scrooge the Musical (NLTC), Graziella in West Side Story (The Metropolitan Musical Society), Jolene Oakes in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (OPUS) and Liz Imbrie in Snaphu Productions’ The Philadelphia Story. Last year Lauren performed with the Wilburton Theatre Company at the Hunstanton Festival of One-Act Plays in the UK, where she was nominated for best supporting actress. Although she didn’t win, her role required producing sound effects for a radio play and frantically trying to keep up with action. She is delighted to return to a simpler role in Collaborators, and has wanted to work under the direction of Megan Dansie for a very long time.
