Erik Strauts

Erik has been involved with community theatre, one way or another, for over forty years; not only as actor and director, but also as stage manager, set designer and builder, sound and lighting technician, and producer & administrator. 

Between 1997 and 2003 he was heavily involved with Blackwood Players, including directing six plays and being the president of the group for two years. Since then Erik has directed productions of “Maskerade” for Unseen; “Sylvia” and “The Farndale Ladies Murder Mystery” for Blackwood Players; and “How The Other Half Loves”, “Gaslight”, “Wait Until Dark”, “Proof” and the award winning “Female of the Species” for Stirling Players.
