Dylan Odonnell
Any actor will tell you that every role brings with it unique challenges. That the most daunting thing about the role of Kynaston would be learning to dance in high heels, never occurred to Dylan when he first read Nell Gwynn. A student at the University of Adelaide, he has done work for the Theatre Guild including As You Like It and Henry V in 2017. He is heavily involved with the University’s Student Society (providing the costumes for Macbeth in 2018). Other credits include Therry’s Jane Eyre, The Rep’s Frankenstein, and Butterfly Theatre’s Taming of the Shrew.
Nell Gwynn is Dylan’s second time on the Stirling stage, having played Alfred in 2018’s Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. He’s happy to be back, and once again in a dress. He looks forward to next year, when he anticipates completing his ‘Trilogy of Frocks’ with The Stirling Players.
