Alison Scharber
Allison’s last appearance with the Stirling Players was in Compleat Female Stage Beauty earlier this year as Margaret Hughes. She has been performing in the Stirling Theatre for as long as she can remember, starting in the Hills Youth Theatre in 1988 with Joan Leslie and going on to perform in many Stirling Players shows such as The Prime Of Miss Jean Brodie, Rookery Nook, Steel Magnolias and One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest.
Allison has continued her drama training over the years and has performed in commercials, film and television as well as onstage for many companies in Adelaide like Therry, St Judes, Adelaide Theatre Guild, Actad and The Rep, with whom she was nominated for best female performance in 2007 for The Heiress in which she played Catherine Sloper.
